During the hurricane, the neighbors' granddaughter and her beau (haha) and her/their many small sprogs came to stay... and they've never left. The guy is a real winner. Tattoos all over both arms down to the wrists, which isn't a big deal, except that one of the tattoos on his forearm is a large SWASTIKA! Oh, the hotness is just blinding! I hear that they are leeching of the grands because they 'want to buy a house'. Sha right. One, you need a job to be able to buy a house, and two, supporting a lazy girlfriend and her 3yo, 2yo, 9mo and the currently developing spawn is going to take a really 'good' job, and I don't think Swastika man is the type who gets the good jobs if you get my meaning. I hear a trainwreck! Current Mood: cynical

We got rear-ended yesterday afternoon. It wasn't fun. There was a red Jeep behind us that was acting like it was in a big hurry, and my husband and I both commented about it. This area has been under construction for over a year, so pretty much everyone knows that the traffic is very start and stop. Well, we moved up a couple of car-lengths, and the impatient guy took off from back where he was and just didn't stop. He slammed right into the back of us, and we were all jarred pretty hard---none of us has ever been in an accident before. My husband jumped out of the truck and started yelling at the guy. I was getting scared because I was sure my husband was going to punch the little punk. I heard him yell, 'I need to know what the fuck your problem is. You just hit me and I've got my kids in the fucking car.' The guy admitted he was in a hurry, so that just pissed dh off even more. We pulled off into the parking lot of a drug store and waited for the police to show up to file a report. It was 99 degrees outside, and the police only took 38 minutes to show up. Niiiice. Glad it wasn't an emergency! So last night my back started hurting and just kept getting worse. It hurt bad enough that I couldn't sleep well, but it seems to be a bit better today, so I am hoping it stays that way. I will post a picture of the damage to the back of our Expedition if I remember. It's not that bad---only about $2000 worth of damage, but I was surprised that it jarred us so much over a 5" crack. So, now I feel stiff and sore, and then I am reading some stuff about TPP and its admins that makes me feel even more like shit. I am a very nice person, and I go out of my way to be nice, helpful and supportive, even if I don't care for the story or I am not crazy about the pairing. I never interfere with an author's writing or their style because I don't feel it's my place, but to read what people are saying just makes me wonder why I bother. I know the former admin who posted it is probably saying these things just to start a dialogue, but I have to admit that I am hurt that her need to bash TPP and start a bandwagon of insults and negative comments from others who have a similar agenda has painted us all at TPP in a certain way. Current Mood: pessimistic
